Investment Newsletter

The Investment Newsletter

So, what's an Investment Newsletter. It can be defines an investment publication which an investor can subscribe to on a regular basis. There are ay investment news letters on the market these days, most of these are completely free to subscribe to, others will charge for the monthly service.

So, is it a good idea to subscribe to a monthly investment newsletter?. This all depends on what type of investor you are. If you just want some information on how the markets are performing then you can join the many free investment newsletters which are widely available available. Or, you can pay for an investment newsletter which will give you information on certain stocks which are about to make a move in the markets.

Basically, if you're going to pay a monthly service for an investment newsletter then you should make an xl spreadsheet with exactly how much you've paid for the service & how much money you've actually made on the investment newsletters information.

The reason you'll need to do this is that many investors will join several investment services at once in the belief that they will make more money in the long term. This will work for the prudent few but if you're an average investor then the one newsletter will do at any one time. Far too often has the average investor paid out a small fortune for information on several stock investments a week but with only the money to invest in one. Don't get me wrong, having more information is better than having just the one investment service but try to join only one investment newsletter at a time, eventually when you start to make some real money you can then join other newsletters.

So, what type on information do I expect to see in a typical investment news letter?. Most investment newsletters will be published online on the company's website, you'll be given a password to access these areas. Other companies will send you the newsletter to your mail box, either once a week, biweekly or monthly. It would be better to join a service that sends out their news letter weekly, that way you can swing trade, taking full advantage of the markets up & down patterns.

Stock market investment newsletters are printed and are usually published online through the trading company’s websites. Subscribers can get a free copy for their own personal use, and potential clients can always view and download from the company websites. These websites also provide archives, or past copies of their stock market investment newsletters which subscribers can easily access and read from their personal computers.

Your typical investment newsletter should contain information on company profiles, any recent news about the company,. It should give you their top picks for the week, stocks that they are going to invest in themselves, basically they should make available to you their complete stock portfolio.

They should also list their monthly top gainers & losers. This is valuable information for the investor because it can usually tell you at a glance if they are making good calls or are loosing more trades than they are winning. You'll also want a good return. There's no point in making an average of 3% on trades if you can put your money in a high interest account and make the same on interest without going through the gut wrenching trauma of bad trades. You'll need to be making 8% to 15% or even higher to make it worth you while.
